Edit A GroLog

When you are inside the GroLog on any day, tap the info button at the top right or the screen to edit.

Botana GroLog Action buttons

  1. Edit the GroLog Name

Take care changing your GroLog name if others are referencing the same information.

Pick a name that helps you organize by location, strain, experiment, or something else that makes sense to you (eg. "Bloom Room 3", "Clone Batch 03-15")

  2. Change the Expected Duration

If your plants need to transplant or harvest earlier or later than expected, change the Expected Duration.

This just estimates the GroLog end date and is not required for transitioning or closing a GroLog.

  3. Edit Strains

Take care when changing your strain list in a GroLog. We recommend only editing if you added the wrong strain or left out a strain originally.

Using Botana helps keep accurate records of your garden. Changing strains can mess up your data integrity.

Click here to learn about editing strains in your GroLog.

Note: If you've already tagged images or tasks with a specific strain, you can not remove it from a GroLog.

  4. Tap the check mark at the top right to save your GroLog
